Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed a quick family getaway in the Twin Room. The ambiance had potential, but cleanliness needs attention, particularly the walls. Despite some minor discomforts, our kids had fun, and we appreciated the nearby play area. Consider asking for extra pillows for a better night's sleep!

The accommodations have a unique charm with homely touches, such as complimentary fudge and ample wardrobe space. I particularly enjoyed the late breakfast hours, which allowed for a leisurely start to the day.
The room needed better maintenance. the shower barely delivered hot water, while the window handle was loose and tricky to manage. the cleanliness could use attention, as there were noticeable marks on the walls, and the pillows lacked fluffiness.

Doors that don’t close properly!!! Consider investing in better noise insulation between rooms and floors, as disturbances from neighboring guests really disrupt sleep!!! addressing the broken outer entrance door lock could improve security!!!

Exceptional dining experience and welcoming atmosphere
I had a fantastic stay, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The food was a standout, especially the rib-eye steak, which was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I also appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of my double room. I would have liked breakfast to start a bit earlier than 7:30 AM for my schedule.

Had a superb meal. the beer-battered cod was crispy perfection. The place is spotlessly clean with quirky touches.
Felt quite safe, nothing to complain about.

I had a pleasant experience at The Swan. The bar food impressed me, and my room offered great comfort. The only downside was the noise from the main road, but I managed with earplugs. a great spot for a short stay!

Quaint, cozy, cozy
The breakfast was exceptional, with a spread that included freshly cooked options that just hit the spot! My room was charming, with beautiful decor that felt welcoming and homey, not to mention the decadent homemade fudge waiting for me upon arrival. Plus, the on-site pub had a buzz that made my evenings even more delightful, especially with the live jazz playing!

Had a right treat with the breakfast—top-notch value for what you get! The parking was a breeze, and I was chuffed with the comfy room setup. Perfect for a solo traveler like me to kick back and explore the area, including The Bowl Inn just down the road.
But blimey, the arrival was a bit of a faff! Plus, we had a hilarious mishap where a mate's key opened my door—definitely a bit dodgy for solo folks!
